Where to file

Complete Form G-1650 and place it on top of your benefit request and supporting documents. Mail them together to the filing location listed in the “Where to File” section of the webpage for the form you are submitting.

When to file

File Form G-1650 when you want to pay your filing fee using an ACH debit transaction from a U.S. bank account and are filing by mail. NOTE: Applicants filing Form I-131 for emergency advance parole (EAP) need to call the Contact Center to make an appointment.

If you have an appointment, we will accept an in-person payment for Form I-131 using a credit, debit or prepaid card with Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions; from a U.S. banking institution using Form G-1650, Authorization for ACH Transactions; or, if you are eligible for an exception to the electronic payment requirement, with a business or personal check using Form G-1651, Exemption for Paper Fee Payment.

Filing fee

By completing this transaction, you agree to pay for a government service and that the fees and all related financial transactions are final and not refundable, regardless of any action USCIS takes on an application, petition, or request. You must submit all fees in the exact amounts.

USCIS filing tips

Complete and sign your Form G-1650 following the form instructions; Make sure you have selected just 1 of the 2 boxes to indicate whether the bank account you are using to pay the filing fee is a personal or business account; Provide the name of the account holder as it appears on the account: the individual account holder for a personal account or the name of the business for a business account; Make sure you have selected just 1 of the 2 boxes to indicate whether the bank account you are using to pay the filing fee is a checking or savings account; Make sure you have provided the correct 9-digit routing number and bank account number for the account. The routing number will always be 9 digits, but it might not be the left-most number that appears at the bottom of your checks.

Check with your bank if you’re not sure of the correct routing and account number; Make sure you have provided the correct dollar amount of the filing fee that you are authorizing to be paid with this form (Do not leave it blank. We will not fill this in.); Provide the name of the bank; Make sure the account has enough money to cover the entire filing fee;

Special instructions

ACH Debit Block Some bank account owners may have placed an account debit block to prevent unauthorized individuals from withdrawing funds using an ACH transaction. If you have a debit block on your account, you must contact your bank and give them the appropriate USCIS agency location code (ALC) to unblock our transaction or ‘whitelist’ USCIS before you file.

This will ensure that we can successfully process your payment. This table lists the location code for each lockbox.
