What is USCIS Form EOIR-29 used for?
Use this form to appeal an unfavorable USCIS decision on a Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, or Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant, for widow(er) filings only. Note: An attorney or an accredited representative of an organization recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals must file a separate notice of appearance on behalf of the petitioner (Form EOIR-27, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative Before the Board of Immigration Appeals) with Form EOIR-29. Do not use this form to appeal a Department of State overseas consular officer's denial of your visa application (for example, DS-157, DS-230, or DS-260).
